After its 2017 sell-out show, MY EVOLUTION OF CAVE PAINTING comes to The Hope Theatre for two nights only. This one-man performance, written and directed by Howard Horner, is a hilarious and deeply personal reflection on the difficulties we all face growing up. He beautifully parallels this with a commentary on the way poetry is taught in the schools system. This unlikely pairing of storylines takes us on a comical and affecting journey encompassing cavemen, depression, and paint, performed entirely in verse. Howard Horner is an actor and poet who trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where the earliest form of MY EVOLUTION OF CAVE PAINTING was born. He performs a variety of work both in London and around Europe. This is North London Arts Collaboration's first public show. The company was created to bring different art forms and styles together in one room with collaboration being the key to creativity. We feel that this show truly exemplifies that by marrying the worlds of poetry and theatre seamlessly.
