Foundling Hospital Anthem HWV268

Mary Bevan and Tim Mead join conductor Stephen Layton and Florilegium to celebrate the 21st Birthday of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health with a programme of vivacious and triumphal works by Handel.

This concert features celebrated masterpieces 'Zadok the Priest' and 'My heart is inditing' alongside lesser known gems such as 'Nisi Domnius' with its ravishing countertenor solo. The evening will conclude with a complete performance of the Foundling Hospital Anthem, which culminates in a joyful rendition of the 'Hallelujah Chorus'.
