Head to Westminster Abbey for a series of Christmas services and festive concerts this Christmas in London.
Celebrate the run-up to Christmas in the historic surroundings of the 700-year-old abbey. Highlights of the season include candlelit carols with the Choir of Westminster Abbey (3 December), a Christmas concert featuring Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols (17 December), carols on Christmas Eve (24 December), and the Sung Eucharist service on Christmas Day (25 December).
Plus, sing along to traditional carols at the annual Christmas concert supported by John Lewis on 14 December, or discover Schütz The Christmas Story on 5 December.
You can also enjoy festive fun during the Christmas family day on 9 December. Little ones can make Christmas tree decorations, join a storytelling session and sing carols with Westminster Abbey’s choristers.
Most Christmas services are free and do not require a ticket. Some popular events require pre-booking and a paid-for ticket.
