Opening on 9 November 2017, Superbugs: The Fight For Our Lives explores humanity's response to the unprecedented global threat of antibiotic resistance. Today superbugs kill almost 700,000 people a year globally and by 2050 this could rise to 30 million. Examining antibiotic resistance at the microscopic, human and global scale, this free exhibition will feature real bacteria, remarkable scientific discoveries from across the globe and reveal personal stories of those waging war on superbugs.
