ARTUNER and the Italian Cultural Institute's are pleased to present the second instalment of their two-part exhibition series on the renowned Italian sculptor Pietro Consagra (1920 - 2005) from 26 September - 20 November. The exhibition places new works by French contemporary artist Marine Hugonnier into dialogue with Consagra's historical oeuvre, to explore how both artists challenge cultural frameworks to establish a new relationship between the viewer and their environment. Hugonnier's new collages from her ongoing series 'Art For Modern Architecture' (2004-), which questions the nature of newspaper images and the history, culture and politics that are associated with them, will be shown alongside Consagra's radical sculptures from the 1960-80s to foster a discussion on modes of representation and points of view in the modern age.
