Full Line Up: Jon Dodd, Cassava, Kavanagh, Silent Self, The UnderGrounD, The Suicide Tapes, Sorts Naughty, Tom Martin, Goldseal DJ Set Our Rock 'N' Roll clubs at Alleycat have become the place to be in Soho on a Saturday with some great live bands and Goldseal on the decks 'til 3am. Headlining the show is Jon Dodd. Jon and his band, based in East London, play grungy, blues inspired alt/rock chock full of growling vocals and screeching guitars. This huge, vintage sound has seen Jon gain momentum on the underground sound of late, playing some of the Capital's most well renowned stages, including Islington's O2 Academy. Southampton quartet Cassava will be providing support. Cassava's angsty indie rock is raw and infectious and played with tonnes of energy! This sound has seen them gain themselves festival slots, radio airplay and shows all over the country. Kavanagh are a five piece from Kent who play indie rock with fuzzy punk riffs, reminiscent of Slaves. The band have spent the summer playing on the underground festival circuit and bagging radio plays in their local area, and now they're ready to show the Capital what they're made of. We'll also be joined by Surrey quartet, Silent Self. Playing laid back indie with eye watering solos, these guys may not have been on the scene long, but have already crafted a strong and confident sound. Croydon Mod quartet The UnderGrounD will be bringing with them their classic, feel good sound that has seen them gain some great reviews and radio airplay, and is a fresh take on the much loved genre. The Suicide Tapes are four guys from Hertfordshire who play dark, yet jangly alt/indie, reminiscent of the likes of The Cult and The Cure. These guys are seasoned pros and are set to play a nostalgic and unique set. Acoustic duo Sorts Naughty will be helping to set the tone for the evening. These two guys create unique funky folk that is sure to get everyones' spirits sky high. Welsh wordsmith Tom Martin will be opening the show. Tom's voice is truly captivating and has resulted in him playing this year's Victorious Festival alongside some huge names!
