After sold out shows in the New Zealand Comedy Festival, Kiwi comedians Ashton Brown and Richard Lindesay are back for a one-off performance of Fools Suffering Gladly.

Expect it to be like a family reunion, where the two people who turn up have nothing in common.

First up is Richard, who is like a walking thesaurus with a skewed view of the world, delivering a non-stop stream of one-liners and observational jokes that will have you laughing and thinking at the same time.

Ashton Brown then turns up, late as usual, like a younger brother who insists he doesn't need a real job. Ashton presents elaborate stories of his life experiences with such comedic woe that you'll almost wish he had got his life together.

These two styles clash wonderfully in an hour of stand-up, sketch comedy and improvisation, with interpretive dance and woodwind instruments thrown in for good measure.
