The Vale of Clwyd Singers and Robert Sells make their Brandenburg Choral Festival debut in this afternoon concert of stunning a cappella choral music. Tippett's memorable Five Negro Spirituals will be at the heart of this programme, which also features gems of the Renaissance by Gibbons, Weelkes and Pearsall, favourites of the early twentieth-century English and French choral repertoire by Stanford, Vaughan Williams and Faure, and some of the most popular choral works of recent times by MacMillan, Gjeilo, Lauridsen and Whitacre. Join us for this delightful concert in the beautiful surroundings of the Queen's Chapel of the Savoy.
