August Bank Holiday sees the return of the Enfield Food Festival, a celebration of the great produce made in and around the borough of Enfield. Expect a bounty of good food, drink and & fun for all the family in the atmospheric setting of Forty Hall Farm! Join us for inspiring talks, masterclasses and cooking demonstrations plus fun food craft and cooking activities for kids. Explore the working organic farm, complete with prize-winning rare breed animals, a market garden and orchard. Enjoy a tour and wine tastings in the Forty Hall Vineyard, London's only commercial organic vineyard. Come hungry and ready to fill your boots with a raft of street food reflecting the diversity of Enfield, along with award winning local producers Holtwhites Bakery, Themptation Foods and the urban cheesemakers, Wildes Cheese, as well as pick of the crops from the Farm's own produce - no air miles here! We'll also be welcoming Enfield's oldest food-producing business, Wrights, who have been producing flour and baking ingredients for 150 years. They'll be bringing along a piece of their history too with their beautifully restored vintage Bedford delivery van which the kids can hop inside. For a little respite, in the Black Barn The Field Dames WI will be serving up tea and cakes and presenting awards for The Enfield Bake Off, all in aid of their chosen charities. Free entry for under 3s. Full details, program line up and advance ticket information can be found on the Festival website. FB: enfieldfoodfestival Tw: @EnfieldFoodFest IG: @foodgatherer
