Complicite Dancer Shane Shambu tells a unique story of growing up in East Ham, speaking two languages and living within many more cultures, revealing how he overcame obstacles to live his dream - to perform Indian dance and stories in a way that could speak to everyone. In this East London premier Shane returns to the Queen's Theatre to recreate the moment when he was one of the first British Asian dance students to perform on our stage 22 years ago.
