Celebrate the female graphic artists whose work illuminated London's transport system during the 20th and 21st centuries, with Poster Girls at the London Transport Museum.
The exhibition showcases more than 150 original posters by such influential designers as Dora Batty, Laura Knight, Margaret Calkin James, Mabel Lucie Attwell, Herry Perry and Freda Lingstrom; alongside letters, books, ceramics and photographs.
Get an insight into these women’s lives, from their background stories, to the period in which they worked and the designers who inspired them. And find out how they in turn influenced later artists.
