Catch Cameron Mackintosh and Chichester Festival Theatre's critically acclaimed musical Half A Sixpence at the Noel Coward Theatre, as it transfers to London’s West End following a record-breaking run in Chichester.
Discover the new stage version of Half A Sixpence, the musical adaptation of H.G. Wells' semi-autobiographical novel Kipps: The Story of a Simple Soul, which tells the tale of orphan Arthur Kipps and his unexpected rise into the ranks of high society following the inheritance of a life-changing fortune. But is his flashy new life for the better?
This fresh adaptation reunites Oscar-winning Julian Fellowes with George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, the musical team that Cameron Mackintosh first put together to create the hit stage adaptation of Mary Poppins with Disney. Its score features several of composer David Heneker's exhilarating songs from the original production, including Flash Bang Wallop, Money to Burn and Half A Sixpence.
