Wander through a garden of lights as The Magical Lantern Festival returns to Chiswick House and Gardens with an enchanting walk through spectacular handmade lanterns in all shapes.

This year’s Christmas-themed lantern festival transforms the famous gardens into a festive haven. Follow a magical adventure though lantern snowmen, a giant Father Christmas riding his sleigh full of presents, cute penguins and dolphins diving in and out of the water, and a spectacular lantern rendition of Noah’s Ark. Plus, keep an eye out for a stunning lantern recreation of an ancient city from the Chinese Song Dynasty, complete with buildings, walkways and archways.

After the trail, warm up at the street food market and pop-up bar, visit the fairground rides, or meet Father Christmas at Santa’s Grotto, where every kid receives a special gift (£10 per child).
