Step into a horticultural paradise inspired by traditional and modern Thai culture at Kew Gardens’ annual Orchids Festival.
See the Princess of Wales Conservatory transformed by floral installations celebrating Thailand, admire handcrafted Thai umbrellas, and walk through beautiful arches and tunnels decorated with rare orchids. Breathe in the fragrance of hundreds of beautiful flowers and discover the importance of orchids in Thai medicine, cuisine and culture.
Highlights of the display include a magnificent Bang Pa-In-inspired orchid palace, and an original cart on loan from Thailand’s embassy in London.
Experience the exhibits during the evening with Orchids Festival: After Hours, where you’ll get the chance to try botanical cocktails, catch live traditional dance performances, enjoy a Thai massage, and even take part in insect tastings!
