About

Step into a horticultural paradise inspired by Colombia, the world’s most biodiverse country at Kew Gardens annual Orchids Festival.

See the Princess of Wales Conservatory transformed by floral installations celebrating Colombia, from mesmerising forest scenes with life-sized jaguars, to dazzling displays of bright yellow orchids that depict the legend of El Dorado.

A highlight is the carnival of animals display, featuring a toucan, sloth and turtle, created from beautiful orchids and other tropical plants.

Experience the exhibits during the evening with Orchids Festival: After Hours, where you’ll get the chance to create your own floral headdress, sample delicious street food, sip on authentic Colombian coffee and dance to carnival rhythms, provided by a Latin big band.
