Celebrate the spirit of Christmas on Regent Street, as the spectacular Christmas lights display returns to pay tribute to the festive heritage of the shopping district.
The largest lights installation in the capital, The Spirit of Christmas, is returning for another year to soar the length of one of London’s most recognisable destinations.
Take a break from ticking items off your Christmas shopping list to marvel at more than 300,000 Christmas lights twinkling above the famous area of Regent Street.
Designed by leading British lighting creatives, James Glancy Design, the scheme is a breathtaking gift to the street’s visitors.
Don’t miss the Regent Street Christmas lights switch-on event on 15 November, as the iconic street closes to traffic from 5pm to 9pm for an evening of festive activities, late-night shopping and star-studded entertainment. The switch-on show takes place from 5.30pm and features performances from big-name stars, with previous acts including Clean Bandit, Paloma Faith, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe.
