Celebrate the spirit of Christmas on Regent Street, as the spectacular Christmas lights display returns to pay tribute to the festive heritage of the shopping district.
Take a break from ticking items off your Christmas shopping list to marvel at more than 300,000 Christmas lights twinkling above the famous area of Regent Street. Taking inspiration from the shopping hub’s earliest Christmas lights in 1954, the glitzy display featuring large-scale spirits glows above Regent Street and its surrounding streets for the second year this Christmas.
Don’t miss the Regent Street Christmas lights switch-on event on 16 November, as the iconic street closes to traffic from 4pm to 9pm for an evening of festive activities, late-night shopping and star-studded entertainment. Hosted by Jamie Theakston and Emma Bunton, the switch-on show takes place from 5.30pm and features performances from Clean Bandit, Paloma Faith, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe.
