Venture downstairs at the legendary King's Head in Crouch End for a night of fun, singing and silliness: Kirsty's Poptastic Piano Singalong!
Sing along with the crowd to all your favourite cheesy and non-cheesy feel-good tunes from the 60s to the present day!
"Human jukebox" Kirsty is a veteran performer on the musical comedy scene, having toured with award-winning comedians Rich Hall, Mitch Benn, Phil Nichol and many other top performers, but she is also able to play thousands of songs by ear. Now, she's at your mercy - YOU choose the songs and everyone sings along.
How does it work?
Simply choose the song you would like Kirsty to play. There will be a very big list provided, so see if your favourite song is there and write it on the slip of paper provided. OR, you can try to order off menu and if she knows it, she'll have a go.
If you would like Kirsty to sing the song whilst you and the rest of the room sing along from the safety of your seats, that's all you need to do. Lyrics will be displayed on a big screen!
If, however, you'd like to take the guest microphone and enjoy your very own unique bespoke accompaniment to the song of your choice whilst you show off your vocal skills and wow the crowd, then simply write your name down as well as the title of the song. Don't worry, lyrics are provided - it's like live piano karaoke! We even have props for you to be st able to channel your inner rock god/goddess or pop princess/prince!
There will be surprises, prizes and goodies galore. Basically, it's just a big old boozy singalong party in a basement of fun.
Also with star turns on the violin, faithfully recreating classic guitar solos and the like, from the wonderful Heather Newton.
Tell everybody and put it in the diary. It's the most fun you can have on a Friday night!
