Feel festive as the beautiful area of Covent Garden sparkles with magical Christmas lights and decorations.
Admire the picture-perfect Christmas decorations which include an enormous Christmas tree, more than 115,000 twinkling pea lights, luxurious bows wrapping Covent Garden's historic buildings, and garlands of mistletoe glittering above the indoor market. This year’s Christmas display also welcomes the return of the reindeer statue on the East Piazza.
Get set for an evening of entertainment at the Covent Garden Christmas lights switch-on event from 5.30pm on 14 November. Watch the cast of hit West End musical 42nd Street perform iconic numbers from the show, with Pudsey bear appearing as special host in aid of BBC Children in Need.
Pay a visit to the artisan Christmas pop-up store Noël, on Floral Street throughout the festive season, and shop for limited edition Christmas wrapping paper and cards created by up-and-coming British designers, in support of BBC Children in Need. Noël also hosts wreath-making and gift-wrapping workshops, and a mulled wine pop-up.
