This comedy musical follows the plight of a pair of teenage Mormon missionaries sent to convert a village in a dangerous part of Uganda.

The brainchild of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, this smash-hit Broadway musical has won high praise from US critics as well as an incredible nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Two young Mormon missionaries are sent to a remote village in northern Uganda, where a brutal warlord is threatening the local population. Naïve and optimistic, the two missionaries try to share the Book of Mormon, one of their scriptures – which only one of them knows very well – but have trouble connecting with the locals, who are more worried about war, famine, poverty and AIDS than about religion.

Suitable for audiences aged 18 and over, The Book of Mormon contains explicit language.

Adult Ticket £22.50 to £200.00 per ticket

I finally saw this! It is really good fun! It's a great musical and it's not over the top with songs, i.e. they don't sing whilst just having a dialogue which can get annoying in other musicals. It is 100% politically incorrect. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that is religious as they might find it offensive. There were moments that I was surprised that they went there. But that's the... more

Very interesting plan, certainly extremely satire and ironic. Fairly inappropriate so might not be for everyone's taste.

I personally preferred this over jersey boys, but I guess it all depends on what you like.

If you liked South Park or Avenue Q, you might like this. more

Where to begin...the theater itself had comfortable seats. The prices were that of Wicked prices, which after having seen the show, I disagree with. This is a very well executed satire comedy. I say that having never been to Uganda...however I am extremely familiar with the Mormon culture/religion so this show was hilarious for me. Trey and Matt Parker did really well with their mormon... more

I really loved it. It was fun, witty and very very rude! If you are easily offended, specially with religious issues probably is better to avoid it, otherwise you should go!

A good musical and a better comedy!

Curiously one in our party didn't enjoy but she is not a fan of musicals and she prefers something more serious, The rest of us loved it! more

Decided to watch Book of Mormon after reading few reviews - they were mixed ones and I am not South Park fan but it is a 9 time Tony Awards musical and everyone else wanted to watch in the group, so decided on this one. It's a story of two Mormon missionaries on a quest to teach a Ugandan village the ways of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I'm so glad I went as it was... more
