By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

This is a contract so please read the terms and conditions carefully. This contract includes limitations of liability and of your rights and remedies. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions please do not enter the competition.


The promoter is London & Partners Limited, a company limited by guarantee, incorporated in England and Wales under company number 07493460 and whose registered office address is at Level 6 2 More London Riverside, London, SE1 2RR (the “Promoter”).

  • The competition will run from 00:01 on 12 September 2017 BST/GMT+1 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 on 30 November 2017 GMT (the "Closing Date") inclusive. Please note the closing date of this competition was previously stated as 15 November 2017.
  • All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
  • You can enter the competition by submitting the online entry form provided on by the Closing Date.
  • One winner of the prize draw will be randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with theseterms and conditions.
  • NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. There is no charge to enter the competition.
  • The Promoter will not accept:
  • responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
  • proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
  • The competition is only open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, France and the United Kingdom (except those resident in a London Borough) aged 18 years or over and able to travel to London, England, except:
  • employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
  • employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
  • members of the immediate families or households of 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 above.
  • Additional Terms for United States Participants: Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate or win prizes in the competition: (a) any person who on or after the Opening Date was or is an owner or employee or a director, officer, employee, agent, or independent contractor of the Promoter; any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated companies or service agencies; and any entities retained by the Promoter for the administration of the competition; (b) individuals who are engaged in the development, production or distribution of competition materials or the prize supply for the competition, or who had knowledge of the competition prior to the Opening Date; and (c) persons who are immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling (or "step" of each) and their respective spouses) of, or who reside in the same household as, any person in any of the preceding categories. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  • In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
  • The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
  • automatically generated by computer;
  • indecipherable, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
  • completed by third parties or in bulk; or
  • The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
  • The prize is:
  • economy class (or equivalent) return flights from any gateway to London for two people, subject to availability and up to a maximum value of £2,000 total. ($2,700 approximate retail value for U.S. residents). The decision as to the most appropriate form of transport to London for the prize winners’ travel will lie with the Promoter, for example where travel is available via train rather than flight. You and your travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary.
  • four nights on a bed and breakfast basis in a standard double or twin room at a central London Radisson Blue Edwardian London Hotel ($1,570 approximate retail value for U.S. residents; subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize
  • a guided tour of London’s music and performance scene with Jumoké Fashola for the competition winner, at a mutually suitable date between 1 December 2017 and 30 June 2018. In the event of the winner not being able to attend the tour, no alternative prize will be provided, the winner will forego the prize in its entirety and a new winner will be selected.
  • Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received between the Opening Date and Closing Date.
  • The prize does not include accommodation for more than four nights in London, any upgrades, travel insurance, medical insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports (including travel from the winner’s residence to departure airport, regardless of the distance) or stations, food and drink, spending money, car parking charges, lounge access, excess baggage, excursions, attractions, the cost of any visa or travel document, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports and any necessary visas and travel documents. The Promoter does not accept responsibility if you are denied a travel document or refused entry for any reason.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to carry out a background check on the winner and guest. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select another winner if the background checks are deemed unsatisfactory and/or could bring the Promoter and other parties participating in the promotion into disrepute.
  • Additional Terms for United States Participants: Entry in the competition constitutes your permission for Promoter to conduct a background check, and you and your guest will provide, to the extent necessary under applicable law, written authorization for such check. Promoter reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to disqualify you if you or your guest fail to properly authorize a background check.
  • The Promoter and the suppliers reserve the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's and/or a supplier’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  • The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
  • The prize may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion offered by the supplier of the prize or any third party.
  • The prize may not be the subject of any claim of any nature whatsoever by the winner.
  • The total value indicated for the prize (if any) set out on the competition website is only given by way of a guide and is subject to change. It is the equivalent of the retail price including VAT of the goods and/or services offered as estimated on the Opening Date of the competition.
  • The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner personally by email as soon as practicable after the Closing Date, using the email address provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
  • If you are a winner, you will have 48 hours to accept the prize by replying to the Promoter’s email.
  • If the winner, once contacted by email, fails to respond and / or accept the prize within a period of 48 hours following the date on which the email is sent notifying him or her of the prize, the prize will be relinquished and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible winner selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
  • The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
  • The Promoter does not accept any if you are not able to take up the prize for any reason.
  • The winner of the competition will be announced on after the winner has confirmed he or she accepted the prize, such announcement to be no later than 31 January 2018 (the “Announcement Date”).
  • Additional Terms for United States Participants: The winner will be required to sign and return within two days (2) business days of receipt, an Affidavit of Eligiblity, Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release, as permitted by law, W-9 Form, and any documents required for a consent to a background check. If the completed documents are not returned to the Promoter within the specified time period, the winner may be disqualified. The decision of the Promoteror the judges nominated by the Promoter (if applicable) is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
  • In order to claim the prize you must contact the Promoter to book the flights to London, who will book the flights through the Promoter’s agency in accordance with terms set out in clause 4 (travel must be completed by 30 June 2018) and to book your stay in London (the Promoter to book the hotel through Radisson Blu Edwardian London Hotels) (hotel stay must be completed by 30 June 2018; hotel rooms cannot be booked 24 – 31 December 2017 (inclusive), 1 – 2 January 2018 (inclusive) nor UK Bank Holidays). The Promoter reserves the right to make a final decision on the airport of departure. If you do not complete your travel and/or stay at the hotel by 30 June 2018 your claim will become invalid.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind or insufficient space in a winner's email account to receive email messages. The Promoter will send the name of the winner to anyone who writes within 90 days after the Closing Date of the competition requesting details of the winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out in clause 1 and the name of the winner will be available on request at the offices of the Promoter set out in clause 1 for a period of 90 days.
  1. Additional Terms for United States Participants: Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its suppliers or agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or suppliers or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
  • By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
  • assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
  • waive all moral rights,
  • in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
  • You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry for such purposes.
  • If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter and its suppliers may use your name, town of residence, image and any social media profile to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
  • You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
  • By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition. The Promoter may also use your personal information to provide you with other information relating to the Promoter’s activities, for example newsletters, other competitions and events.   • By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the Prize Draw, you agree to be contacted by email if you win a prize, and to be kept updated with news. Participants might be contacted by London & Partners for evaluation purposes. You will only receive other emails from London & Partners or the associated partners if you opt in to do so when registering.
  • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
  • Subject to clause 10.4, these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and both you and the Promoter submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  • For United States Participants: All matters arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Delaware without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule (whether of the State of Delaware or any other jurisdiction).  Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and instituted in the federal courts of the United States of America or the courts of the State of Delaware in each case located in the City of Wilmington and County of New Castle, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts in any such suit, action, or proceeding. The parties irrevocably and unconditionally waive any objection to venue of any suit, action, or proceeding in such courts and irrevocably waive and agree not to plead or claim in any such court that any such suit, action, or proceeding brought in any such court has been brought in an inconvenient forum.
