TRAID stands for Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development. Launched in 1999, TRAID has gone from strength to strength. With its unique link between recycling and fashion retail, TRAID continues to raise money to fund international projects whilst helping to promote recycling and waste reduction in the UK. Unwanted clothes that are donated are hand sorted or redesigned and reconstructed to make new recycled garments, and sold through their charity shops. Through its strong branding, TRAID has been successful in gaining a reputation for being innovative and edgy, appealing to a predominantly young, fashionable and environmentally conscious audience.

Traid -- we get along fine! If you are living up in Bayswater/Notting Hill and need a break from the heat your wallet is taking e'ery day, check it.

Very well priced and though clothes are "pre-loved" they are typically in great shape, newer styles, etc. Brands range from Next, New Look, H&M, etc...and also good selection of vintage separated in the back.

Traid in Westbourne Grove is part of a small chain of thrift stores that raise money for an International Development charity.

This is definitely my favourite charity shop in London, mainly for purely selfish reasons because you can find such great steals! I have found great clothes here many many times, for all occasions, casual clothes as well as party frocks. It makes you feel good about shopping and you also feel good for yourself too! Continua

Big selection for both men and women. Interesting range. Decent prices. I've been in here several times, but never bought anything. I would say it's worth popping your head in if you're in the area, though. Continua
