The ICA Cafe is one of my favourite places in London for a spot of wifi-surfing. Its large skylight and white walls ensure the Cafe is reliably bathed in natural light. Add in the artsy atmosphere, and this is a perfect place for a bit of engaging in a bit of Internet-assisted alternative thought.

My veggie burger here was delicious, but the location and seating are not the best. You have to pay for a museum ticket to get to the restaurant -- only £1, but still a nasty surprise when you're only looking for food or coffee. You have to pay I think a quid to access this cafe but it's probably one of the best options in the area and has everything from coffee and tea and soft drinks to a full bar and a quite substantial, interesting menu. The staff were really nice as well. En savoir plus
I've been to the ICA (see that review) many times for exhibitions during the day. I've passed the cafe many times during these visits and the cafe always looks like a normal modern cafe. Busy, clean with a lot of laptops being interacted with.
Last night I went after an immersive theatre experience and I was very disappointed with the cafe's after hour look.

The ICA Café is a work-from-homer's paradise and a rather unknown little gem among a mass of tourist traps.
Skylights and windows overlooking the Mall provide a well lit loft-like atmosphere and the trendy modernist styling makes me feel like I am sitting inside of an Ikea catalogue.
