I walked around Greenwich on a Friday night at about 8pm looking for somewhere to have a quick, quiet pint before my friend arrived.
The only place, even at this prime, post work drinking hour that was busy was The Gate Clock.

First time I came here with friend and most of the menu was out of stock but still had to pay full price for a half received meal. Staff are friendly enough. Second visit it was quiet and got served straight away and my food arrived quickly. I had a Caesar salad which was nice enough. En savoir plus
We come in at first of january. So it wasn't crowded by after working people nor students. Only some old men and women stays there and tourists like us.
The interior is ok but not in best condition.
You have to order at the bar and can take away your drinks. The meals are served at the table. We had fish and chips combined with peas. Except the peas everything was ok. They were lukewarm only... En savoir plus
It's a Wetherspoons. I'm sure you already know what Wetherspoons is like, but for the uninitiated it's like the fast food chain of pubs.
Only visited the once- we had spent enough money in the market and decided to eat lunch somewhere very cheap. Food was the same as every other Wetherspoons (i.e. okay). There were lots of students from the nearby university present and as the bar filled up... En savoir plus
This is a pub in the Wetherspoon chain that showed promise at first, only to then terribly disappoint.
My friends and I are big Wetherspoon fans; we totally support their incredible prices and love their food. We try to go to all the Wetherspoons we can find and scope out the differences which often are substantial.
