Curzon Chelsea

Vue d'ensemble

Set in the heart of the fashionable King's Road, Chelsea is our largest venue, boasting the biggest screen outside of the West End. Arthouse wonders rub shoulders with the best in independent cinema, making this one cinema worth visiting after a day of extensive shopping.

The last great cinema in London, a screen so big it puts some iMax cinemas to shame. Attentive staff with a great knowledge of the indie films. A joy if you love cinema.

Nice bar and you can take the drinks into the screen with you, a very civilised experience. En savoir plus

Just one large screen here. Seating area in foyer with a small bar. Quite dark for Q&As but large stage area. Good selection of independent films.

On the other end of the King's Road from Sloane Square Station, the nearest tube but a good road to walk down, lots of shops for window shopping and past the Saatchi Gallery. Lots of photo opportunities, expecially during the Chelsea Flower Show. En savoir plus

I could tell others felt the same too by the constant shuffling all around. How distracting!

This aside, the... En savoir plus

Big screen, old style cinema, pay extra £2 and book seats with so much leg room you could slide right out of them untill horizontal and still not be annoyingly banging the backs of those in front - I suppose a bit like Virgin Airways club class, except for just £2 - must be a bargain!

And if the film were really dull, you could probably get a good kip in this position.

If you actual like... En savoir plus
