Would definitely recommend this place for a real Fish n' Chips experience! I never heard of this place until I watched a YouTube video about "Places to Eat in London". My sister and I came on a Tuesday evening and there was still a wait for about 30+ mins.
It was definitely worth the wait! I normally don't eat chips, but I made a consideration of course being in a famous Fish n' Chips joint.... En savoir plus
This is not like fish and chips in the U.S. more emphasis on the fish and less on the batter. I tried both the Cod and Haddock. Similar I'm taste in my opinion. Preferred the Haddock.
Very good. Worth the trip out of the way. En savoir plus

I know the owners claim that the decor harkens back to post-World War II East London, but it creates a discongruence for me because I feel like I'm dining in a kitschy American diner. It even looks... En savoir plus
