Moorgate station is a handily-located station, being smack right in the City of London, and walking distance from Bank and Liverpool Street stations, should you need to travel during peak hour but not get caught up in the peak hour crushes.

Moorgate tube station get this treatment due to it being one of the few remaining stations not to have wifi. This annoys me on a daily basis, particularly when awaiting on a crowded northern line train I can finally manage to squeeze on to.

A useful stop in the heart of "The City" part of London, Moorgate is also apparently a terminal stop for the First Capital Connect line that runs to Peterborough, Cambridge, and King's Lynn. On the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines, it is between Barbican and Liverpool Street. It is also a stop on the Bank branch of the Northern Line between Old Street and Bank.

Currently the station is under construction for the new Cross Rail project making it difficult to use. In general it is dirty and confusing with unfriendly staff. En savoir plus
Moorgate tube station is a rather depressing place. It's one of those stations where you really want to know where you are going before trying to get on or off a train here!
