Not sure I agree with the other reviewers...

This tube station has very limited access making it difficult to enter and exist. It never feels very clean and neat. The staff is also not very friendly, probably due to the working conditions.

There is a little shop in the station, does not really work as it is to close to the entrance adding to the access issues. En savoir plus

A very small station serving a busy area, The Barbican Centre and West Smithfields. The Hammersmith, Circle and Metropolitan lines runs through here taking people to the City. If the train is going eastwards, use the front coaches and if the train is going west, use the back coaches, so you will alight near the Exit, otherwise it is quite a long walk along the platform!

One of the stations on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City Line, Barbican is one of the few that pops out of being Underground so you can grab a quick sync of your email and send a text. I wouldn't recommend a phone call as you're shortly back into no signal.

Barbican is between Farringdon and Moorgate, and is in Travelcard Zone 1 with the usual ticket barricades and Oyster... En savoir plus
