This review is long over do. This is the best and only "play cafe" I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Great cozy little spot, especially If you have children....especially toddlers, this is the place for you. There is a decent sized area with a ball pit, dress-up costumes, drawing tables, books and toys. While the adults chat and dine, the kiddos are free to be kids.

There's a vast shortage of indoor activities for kids during winter (that won't drive me bonkers) -- so we ventured north to give Full of Beans Play Cafe a whirl...

First, the price:

*£5 minimum spend (per kid playing) - or you can pay a small admission fee for them to play in the ball pit/soft play area. As Aromy mentions this is easily covered by a coffee and snack, or in my case --- 2... Más información

Full of Beans is a fantastic local coffee shop in Islington. It is quite unique in that there is a main community style seating area for that coffee with your morning newspaper, but there is also a children's play area in the back so mums or dads, can have their coffee while the children enjoy themselves in the back.

Frankly, we only came here because it was one of the only places open in the area (apparently 90% of places shut between Christmas and New Year). We needed some wine and cheese for a NYE party, and since the wine shop is right next door we stopped in for a quick bite.

I was really excited about trying this place with my toddler. They do run activities for kids so my friend and I decided to meet there on Monday to join the event; tiny time music for babies and toddlers (£6) .
