A grandes rasgos

Following a successful pop-up stint, Cutter & Squidge - creator of the much talked-about biskie – has opened its first store in Soho.

Biskies are a one-of-a-kind fusion of biscuit/cookie/cake filled with lightened buttercream, handmade jams or award-winning caramels.

The shop sells an array of biskie varieties, from Key Lime Pie to Cookies and Cream.

Other in-store treats include vegetarian marshmallows, honeycomb, and salted caramel.

The shop homes a magical secret garden; a fairytale-like space complete with a wishing well, hanging plants, flowers and fruits. This enchanting space has been created by designer Callum Lumsden.

Dry, overpriced cakes and biskies :/

I had slices of the pecan cake, carrot cake, and a peanut butter biskie. Maybe I'm used to American baking, but the frosting here was very greasy and the cake kind of fell apart. The biskies were also pretty hard.

I don't really understand the hype here. I hate to waste but I had to toss most of the cake :/ Más información

Popped in for a cup of tea - very pleasant staff, looks like a nice place; plenty of people queuing for their cakes...but I just didn't have the time to indulge

A place to return to & maybe adjust the rating Más información

So, as you enter the shop you pass by all the macrons and cakes in the shop that are perfectly enticing. If I wasn't here for tea, I could see stopping by for something sweet or ordering a cake for a special occasion. The... Más información

I passed by this girly, hipster looking café as I was shopping around the Picaddilly Circus area and decided to walk in and check it out. I was taken by the pastel colored theme and how the decorations seemed to be those reminiscent of a doll house.

Not feeling to be in the mood for cake, I ordered several of their homemade truffles in the green tea flavor, salted caramel flavor, and Belgian... Más información

This cafe is centrally located on a corner Brewer street. The joint itself is well decorated and absolutely adorable. Noise levels are appropriate for a quick meeting or intimate dessert option.

There are cute little gifts such as mugs, sweets, and other novelties, especially being recently infiltrated with the Hello Kitty stuff. The "biskies" are very delicate and unique looking, though a... Más información
