A collaboration between the National Theatre and local social enterprise Coin Street Community Builders, The Green Room serves ethically-sourced British food. With theatrical decor and features recycled from the theatre, it is a uniquely modern setting with an exciting and varied menu. The venue is also home to a bar and a sustainable garden.

I had the pork belly with kimchi-coleslaw. It was a really excellent dish -- absolutely loved the tender pork belly and the amazingly flavourful (and plentiful!) kimchi-coleslaw on the side which went perfectly with the pork belly. I have been intrigued by the look, name and the location of this restaurant, I am not a thespian but just a mere eater of two things i.e. food the thespians work. So you can say I was quite full, the atmosphere of the place was buzzing, the music sublime and subtle but the taste of the food was gentle but gives you the punch with flavours akin to a rather good seasoning. Stopped in while walking by while exploring London. Great drinks. Nice beers. They have an amazing outdoor sitting area with some comfortable chairs. Great place to spend an afternoon. Más información
As if I needed more reasons to love the NT. Been here a few times and the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful, lovely ambience. The food's all locally sourced and seasonal, with clearly labelled allergy requirements on the menu.

Came in on a Sunday and the restaurant had a decent number of staff and customers. It's linked to the National Theatre, and as it was closed, I thought it would be quiet. As it's a tiny bit out of the way it's great it attracts business so well.
There's plenty of food and drink to choose from with vegan and gluten free options, personally not important to me but to some people I was with.... Más información
