A station on the Jubilee line (the gray one) between Canary Wharf and Canning Town, North Greenwich is bespoke for the O2 Arena (formerly named the Millenium Dome). Lots and lots of ticket barriers and a reasonable number of ticket vending machines, it is clearly ready for the kind of peak-crowds you would expect when there is a large concert or event.

In contrast to my usual station (Bexley-village train station with a shack) This station is all in doors and only houses the tube. It gets me to places quicker too.
Its a bit cold, big and clinical though, but I guess it has to be, because it's supposed to be ideal for big audiences to come and go and I guess it serves it purpose. Especially with a one direction gig on. Oh god. Those fan... Mehr erfahren
Gripes I hear from people about this station:
-Tube enclosed in glass
-Close to the 02 & market but nothing else
For me, these are all plus points - also gets me to Canary Wharf in minutes to connect to my beloved DLR.

Quite possibly the most annoying station on the tube. Why? Because the way out at one end of the platform makes you walk the entire length of the train back to the ticket barriers. Then you get up the escalators and have to turn right around and walk the same length again to get to the O2! It's just badly thought out, and not very nice inside anyway. Mehr erfahren
Pretty typical of the modern stations on the Jubilee Line. The train lines up with a barrier with doors through which you exit: a little safety thing to stop anyone jumping on the track! From there you head up to a higher level with a big open walkway and on towards the exit. The whole lot is inside one big space with no tunnels.
