One of the prettier tube stations we were in. Nice architecture and natural light.. Yes, only 1 flight of stairs down, but would be nice to have an escalator when dragging heavy luggage up. Mehr erfahren
What I like about this station is that you only go down a small flight of stairs to get to the tracks. It's basically ground-level. There's even some natural light, if memory serves. Mehr erfahren
Mind the Gap! Small station, easy to get in and out. Can get overly crowded because of the lack of space. But it is a small fight of stairs to the tracks from the street. Right in the middle of shops, restaurants, stores, etc. Takes you to lot of the sights around london or to Paddington. Easy to get in and out. It was nice to see no ceiling at this station.

The first station south of Paddington on the new "not a Circle" line, Bayswater has been around for a long while. It originally opened in 1868 and it seemingly hasn't changed much. It was good then, it's good now. The platform end still has a section where there is no roof - this was to allow the smoke and steam from those old trains to escape.

Queensway gets the benefit of Circle, District and Central line via the namesake's station or Bayswater which is literally down the block. It's tiny but the two lines make it an easy transfer point or if you're looking to get to the Northwest of Hyde Park/Kensington Palace.
