This place is absolutely majestic. Stayed two different nights, in two different rooms, and both were spacious and impeccably decorated. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but I had coffee in the Corner Room, and I drank in the bar - and loved both. This Cambridge college resembling hotel is stunning. It really is fancy and I struggle to see who exactly their target customers are. It's not far from Bethnal Green tube station so I suppose you can get into town quickly, but I'm not sure how many foreign city workers would choose to stay here as opposed to somewhere a little closer to their office.

This place is awesome!! The rooms are super modern. Gorgeous marble bathroom. Ipod station. USA and other country plugs in the wall (so no adapter needed!!). Chocolates in the evening! The list goes on...

The building itself, in all its modernized imperial splendour, is the key to this hotel's attraction. However, there is more: The Danish Modern furnishings add a tone of cool and continental to the place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Some rooms are apartment style, including a fairly well equipped kitchen - another plus when you need a break from pricey, rich restaurant food.
