Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street Hotel Four Star

About

The quintessential Covent Garden rendezvous, the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street effortlessly blends with the boutique appeal of its neighbourhood. A landmark in Seven Dials village, this is a chic retreat on the doorstep of London’s most celebrated theatres, its beautifully designed rooms equipped with next-generation technology.

Boasting 137 bedrooms, eight luxurious suites with dressing rooms and Union-Jack design SMEG fridges, the most up-to-date Apple TV technology in every room and free WiFi throughout, the hotel is the perfect place to work, rest and play.

Quirky features also include Japanese-style “Bento Boxes”, served at lunchtime to delegates. There is also a fitness room for those wanting to work off a few pounds.

The heart of the hotel lies the Scoff & Banter restaurant serving up British food the way it should be. A modern bar and restaurant perfect for pre-theatre dining and post-theatre drinking.

The Radison Blu is located at the 7 dials and is a great location to be in the heart of Covent Gardens. The rooms are a bit small but the bedding is comfortable and there are plenty of outlets near the bed which sometimes hotels do not have. The service is good, and the reception staff was always helpful. They even insisted on hailing a cab for us and stood outside in the cold on the dial for...more

The Location is superb, it's near the theatres, great food spots and walking distance from major tube stations (covent garden/ Leicester square).

Price is hefty given its central London and on the doorstep of covent garden. But it didn't bother me too much as I was staying for a special day trip and night out and I repeat Location is superb!

We stayed in the business club on the top floor....more

I checked in and walked right back down with all intention of checking right back out but the staff worked with me to find a larger room (still small- but i could live with it)....more

What a fantastic experience from the moment I checked in to the moment I left the hotel. Radisson's efforts to spruce up already existing hotels and add it to its family of hotels paid off in what feels like a deluxe hotel without the price tag. For around £140 after taxes and fees ($220 +/-) a night, the hotel offers a deliciously comfortable bed in a spacious room (equipped with a large HDTV...more

The hotel has now changed names to the Radisson Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel. It has an excellent location just by Seven Dials. It is easy walking distance from Covent Garden tube station and it is truly a great location if visiting London as a tourist.

Arriving very early in the morning my room was not ready yet but reception staff were happy to take care of my bag while getting the room...more
