Rydges Kensington is very close to Gloucester Road tube station, which is so nice when you have lugged your suitcase from the airport and on the tube. The reception staff are friendly and very service-minded, and housekeeping do a great job. I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. We came into the Uk on Thursday morning and arrived at the hotel at about 11am. Even though check-in was at 2pm, our room was already ready for us, which was a

great relief after a 6 hour flight. The room we got was on the second floor. There was an elevator in use. The room itself was small, but perfectly fine for our use.

Small hotel with friendly staff - the rooms are actually pretty nice, but unbelievably small. If you are okay with being crammed in a tight space, then it is manageable.

On the other hand, the wifi works great, and it is in a great location, walking distance to Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, Harrods, and many museums.

I had amazing service here, the hotel staff was extremely helpful, and the beds were possibly the comfiest hotel beds I've ever stayed in.

It was also right near a Tube station and the hop on hop off bus tour so the location was perfect for a tourist in London. My friend and I also has just gotten off an 9 hour bus ride from Paris and our check in time was like 5 hours away but they still...more

the next time I go to London I probably wont stay here. Its just a little cramped and outdated... the staff was more than accommodating and the food and beverages were wonderful (as to be expected) it was really just the building they need to update. Its Kensington its one of the nicer boroughs I expect the place
