DoubleTree by Hilton London Heathrow Airport Four Star

Formerly called the Ramada Jarvis Heathrow, the DoubleTree by Hilton London Heathrow is quite unlike the traditional airport hotel, and built around a delightful English garden.

DoubleTree by Hilton London Heathrow is a convenient base for enjoying nearby Windsor, Hampton Court and the attractions of London.

Room seemed nice enough until you try the bed, which was worn out and lumpy. Upon check-in there were five employees standing behind the counter, but only two waiting on customers. Real cheap fatty sausage, no bacon, rock hard eggs. Coffee is french press but they are disinclined to actually serve...more

Rooms are a little dated but breakfast is good with a decent range of hot food and fruit. Downside no in room fridge, but ironing board & iron and decent sized safe,...more

The Hoppa Hotel took a while to get here (35 minutes) so it's a shame there is no shuttle service directly to the hotel. After a long flight, I believed this "close to the airport" hotel would be faster to get to than 35 minutes. Once we finally arrived the room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff is quite lovely. But the location is not nearly as good as they would like you to believe....more
