I cannot find a single fault with The Stafford, other than the price...but that has to do with the US dollar as well.

The location in St. James is simply the best: A few blocks to Buckingham palace, all those amazing parks, the tube, Piccadilly circus, the British museum. You can easily walk to Fortnum and Mason and a plethora of shops and restaurants.

The Good:

This hotel is not only centrally located but the rooms are HUGE and quiet. Finding all three of these characteristics at a London hotel is not easy.

Breakfast was included in our rate (Amex FHR property) and I still remember how fresh and delicious the eggs and English muffin were.

This really is a lovely hotel. It almost has a bed and breakfast feel. We had a large party with 8 rooms. There was a bit of confusion with our check-in, giving things a rough start. The staff wanted to know who was going to be in each room. After 12 hours of traveling and 8 hours of sightseeing, we were exhausted and not in much of a mood to do that.

There are alot of beautiful hotels. The Stafford has to be one of the most beautiful I have even seen.
