Me: Have I been arrested?

Receptionist: No. This is a hotel

Me: I didn't have to pay right?

Receptionist: Take a guess... It's a hotel

I'm glad I checked out this hotel before my planned overnight trip to London, as this hotel is certainly like a prison!

This hotel is in the Travelodge franchise, and may be the place to stay, which will be easier on your pocket, it isn't the place to say...more

Okay, a TL is a TL...basic rooms with minimal facilities BUT in fantastic locations at amazing prices.

£120 per night for a very comfortable bed, 15 or so free view tv channels, good clean shower room and a desk to work at and make my tea & coffee all of this and located right next to Euston Station. Clean, reasonably priced and stylishly decorated for an 'overnight stay'...

Let's face it, it's Travelodge, it's not a destination hotel, but for putting your head down whilst you're a little drunk the price point is ideal, and with rooms that have air con and showers that are hot and powerful, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather stay in the Euston area, for less than 80 quid.more

The best part of this hotel is its location - just across the road from Euston mainline station. The rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable but not huge. It can be quite cheap - especially on Sunday nights - look out for special offers on the Travelodge website. Not much character - just a standard chain hotel but convenient.more
