This room was minuscule even by London, New York, or Paris standards. The full size bed had to be pushed up against the wall so there was enough space to walk in the room. It was my last night in London and I had planned on staying with friends in Walton-on-Thames, but the Waterloo station was closed on Sundays. Starting with the positives, the hotel is in a great location for tourists & as a business traveller was convenient for my Mayfair office. Decor is pleasant and my room was generally clean with a decent TV, ironing board, toileteries etc.

I am writing this review with the hotel's free wi-fi right now! The Cumberland doesn't have free wi-fi and you have to pay to use the internet in their business center too. I call bullshit on that after staying here at the Edwardian Sussex. Actually, I normally stay at The Cumberland, but it just didn't work out this trip... I may never stay there again.
