Melrose House

Melrose House is a family-run guesthouse in a traditionally built Victorian townhouse with off-street parking. It is situated in a quiet and pretty suburb only 15 minutes from the centre of London. Close enough to be in the centre quickly but far enough away to escape the noise and activity when desired. The other big advantage is that you are not paying central London prices.

Melrose House lies within a triangle formed by three major towns; Bromley in Kent, Croydon in Surrey, and Greenwich in South London. Bromley boasts the largest shopping centre outside of central London, with theatres, cinemas and plenty of fine eating places. Croydon is similarly a busy shopping and business area in close proximity to Gatwick airport. Greenwich is famous for it's maritime history. The famous Crystal Palace Park and Sports Centre is only ten minutes walk from Melrose House, with swimming pools, gymnasium and ball game areas.

All rooms have en suite shower rooms with WC and wash basin, or private bathroom. All rooms have TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Prices are inclusive of breakfast which is served in the dining-room overlooking our lovely garden room and pretty garden.

We are a 20 minute drive from the M25 motorway and Gatwick airport is 45/60 minutes away. Heathrow can be reached easily from Victoria station, which is just a 15 minute train ride away. City airport is also within easy reach.
