Stumbled upon this "members club," after all the local bars had closed.

The crowd inside was, of course, very Chelsea though I found the scene to be quite welcoming and intimate. People would introduce themselves and even share their bottle service.

Everyone was out for a good time on a Thursday without pretense and it made for an enjoyable night.

Raffles has really changed in the last year. There is new management, all new staff and a new crowd. The good reputation that once was, has been rapidly demolished and it has just become a place for thugs to get drunk and fight. Last time I went, the crowd I witnessed was dreadful. It's sad to say, but I think all the respectable Sloanies have long forgotten Raffles.more

Loved it! Much more of the scene I was looking for. Good doormen keeping the riff raff out. We met the owner of the bar Chinawhite, and made friends, so that probably helped the experience. Good table service, and the dance floor was great. The club is really small but the podium in the middle of the dance floor is a nice touch, and is really fun. All in all a good time, and if you can...more
