This is the best public transportation to get to and from London! Plus, if you plan ahead you can purchase your tickets in advance with a good discount--they are flexible with the times so no worries if your flight times change.

The Heathrow Express is fast, clean and has phone chargers at each of the seats. This is way better than taking a taxi, the tube, or a car service. Yes--there is a...more

The seats are purple, space...more

Taking the express is easy, comfortable and quick. It's much cheaper than taking a cab and it's stress free. Buying a ticket is easy and the trains normally are not very packed.

You will end up at Paddington train station...more

Although it is the fastest link between Heathrow Airport and downtown London, Heathrow Express (HEX) is slammed as the world's most expensive train by cost per mile and was not favored by both pro tourists and locals. Previously, I praised HEX as an affordable choice that is a much more comfortable than the conventional tube option if you book in advance, but after the recent reduction in...more
