i love travelling by eurostar. LOVE IT. 2 hrs 15 minutes and you get from the centre of london to the centre of beautiful paris! plus you can have a wee train beverage on the way to get the party started! i have to say it's much more pleasant going from london to paris as the facilities at st pancras are much newer, cleaner and well maintained. the toilets at gare du nord are just maaaaanky...more

Service has gotten much faster from London to Paris! The trip through the southeastern UK has vastly improved since the channel tunnel opened in the 1990s. There are many tunnels in the London segment of the ride, but the pressure change isn't that great inside the cars.more
This train will swiftly whisk you between Paris and London. However, what could have been a great train ride quickly turned into a disgustingly unsavory experience thanks to British customs and immigration. In a matter of minutes I discovered the dark, prejudicial nature of the British customs authority which clearly targets minorities, subjecting us to mistreatment.

We took the Eurostar from London (St Pancras station) to Paris (Gare du Nord station). Processing through customs (London side) was painless. We had a early morning train, it was not very crowded.
We enjoyed the train. It was super fast, quiet and clean. (2 hour ride). The seats were very comfortable and we had lots of leg room. We had upgraded to Standard Premier. We were served a...more
