The train itself and how quickly and easy it is to get between London and Gatwick should get five stars. I've gone a few times and the times where there hasn't been a massive problem on the train lines, the service runs smoothly. Sure the cars aren't nearly as new and fancy shmancy as the Heathrow Express, but you're only on there for a short time and it gets the job done.

This was a super convenient transportation choice!
1. I had a 9am flight out of Gatwick
2. My rental flat could spit and hit Victoria Station

I like this shuttle because it's quick and convenient and the price is right. However, it must be said that you can get cheaper fares on Easybus.more
As I much prefer to fly into LGW instead of LHR, I often get on this train. It is very smooth, fast and efficient on time to the minute. It takes straight into Victoria Station with 15 minutes.more
The Gatwick express was clean and efficient. We bought 2 round trip tickets online for £40... a steal compared to a cab ride to Gatwick. It took about 20 mins to get to the airport and there were trains every 15 mins, which allowed us to sleep in that little bit extra for our early morning flight! Will defo take the train again next time I'm heading to Gatwick.more
