Liked this station's simplicity. I'm not a Londoner and I find it pretty straightforward. Theres a well serviced cab stand nearby and lots of transport options. It's clean as well and with a few restaurants for the passing diner. Nothing to complain about really.more
Busy station with much refurbishments on the go. Signage and screens could use an upgrade(hopefully this will be done once all the building wok has finished). Some screens work some on the blink, staff always look miserable. Plan your journey and identify the platform u need before if possible.
On the whole it just a stations and does its job... But could be better at it.more
The Railway station at East Croydon is always a mess. Often construction on-going, the information is often scarce (have tried changing trains here a few times and often poor information on screens and staff unable to provide anything further).more
Initially the negative impression that I have of Croydon was confirmed when the first thing that I saw on exiting the station was a heavily pregnant woman smoking.
But then you see the trams, which are pretty nice. And the area around the station is not so bad. With only a 12 minute journey from London Bridge, not too bad even if you do have to sardine it, you can see some attraction to the...more
