Charing Cross tube station is very conveniently located on the Strand, close to Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. Both the Bakerloo and Northern lines (Charing Cross branch only) service this station, making it a great place to meet friends. The station is fairly vast so it can take a few minutes to get to your platform, but the location can't be beaten.more

This is a very convenient underground station that is close to Trafalgar Square and The Strand.

I used Charing Cross a few times during my stay in London and I liked the location of it and the fact that the National Rail is there as well. This station is ideal for me because it's in the same building as national rail so I never have to go outside and get wet when it's raining.

I love the little history anecdotes on the wall in both northern and bakerloo line platforms. It reminds me of my history student days, especially all that medieval stuff about edward and his wife eleanor.

It's pretty easy to navigate since it's only two lines. The northern line is particularly easy because it's a loop.
