I love this station. Why you ask? Because of the tunnels.

This historic station is accessible by three line: The District, The Circle and The Picadilly. Easy to get to from any of them, trains run (usually) smoothly and it's pretty clean.

However it's the tunnels that set this baby apart. Walk through them and wind up right in front of the V&A or science Museum or Natural History Museum...more

Quite pretty in places and an historic station that is well served by three lines. However it's also got lots of steps and no lifts so dreadful for anyone with mobility problems.

I rather like South Ken station. Primarily for its swell location to my church, but not only that but also because, it is wonderfully placed near possibly my favourite museum in London - The V&A. As a side not if you haven't been you must go, it's such a treat.

Having had my cousin visiting from Malaysia in the last few weeks has turned me into a bit of a tourist in my own city. This is no bad thing as you do get to explore pretty exciting places which you had poo pooed as tourist trap!

Best known for its proximity to the museums of Kensington, this station is proximate to the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and of course the Victoria and Albert Museum. Talk like a local and refer to it a as"South Ken" when you're looking for the Piccadilly or Circle and District lines.
