From LHR, we took the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station:

Maybe because we were tourists and this was our first time in London? Not sure but we really enjoyed the Paddington station. (I can't remember the last time I "enjoyed" a train station)

Clean, lively, pubs, nice spots to eat, good signage, nice architecture, plenty of ATM/cash machines, etc.

I like the Paddington Station because it's probably the only station I've heard of and it's riddled with history and the Paddington Bear! I've always been a fan of the bear ... which I know is not what this station is about but it is pretty awesome nonetheless.

You should definitely check out the bear statute in the station, such a necessity!

One of my favorite stations in London. Its so beautiful with the shops surrounding each rail. It reminds me of Grand Central in NYC. It houses al the local and long distance trains coming in and out.

They also have a Vodaphone where I got my international sim card.more
