My go to Tube Station while in London for a week.

MIND THE GAP.

Walking distance to the Doubletree on John Islip and the exit for Tate Britain museum.

On the Victoria Line where its one stop away from Victoria Station and you can transfer to Circle or District Line.

Pretty quiet station compared to the other major ones around London.more

Another tube stop you say? Victoria line you say? Yes. To both.

Where you could exit out of Victoria Station to masses of people rushing about to get to work, or tourists standing in the middle of the path staring at the ceiling (which I still do not understand), instead you should opt for Pimlico.

Hiding in Westminster and serving only the Victoria Line, Pimlico is in Travelcard Zone 1. While some of the entrances feature ramps down almost to the ticket concourse, there are still steps. And an escalator down from the ticket concourse to the platform level.

It is between Victoria and Vauxhall stations and has the usual ticket barricades and Oyster readers.
