Much improved since recent refurbishment works as part of the TfL investment programme, the ticket office is much better able to cope with crowds and the facilities are better but the station still has no lifts and lots of stairs and escalators, making it inaccessible to anyone with mobility problems. Also incredibly busy most of the time so best avoided at peak periods and weekends.more

This has got to be the busiest, if not one of the busiest, stations on the whole network.

Central Line (red), Victoria Line (light blue) and Bakerloo Line (brown) intersect here. Throw in the fact that this is where everyone (tourists) comes to for shopping on Oxford Street and also Regent Street......it's going to be busy and congested as people don't know where they are going. Add the fact...more

One of the deeper Tube stations, Oxford Circus is proud of its escalators. From street level, it's a long ride down to the platform. No cellular coverage down here, that's for sure!

This station is nearly as confusing as Bank. It's quite easy to get confused and end up coming out the absolutely wrong exit/entrance. There are labels, but it will help if you look at Google Street Maps to figure...more
